I like the emphasis on the diversity of culture and that its roots in the past are valued. Also that people who want to earn their living through culture are important in our society.

I like the broad brush approach to culture, which removes the risk of elitism and proposes that a society that values culture brings benifit to all its members. I like the emphasis that all aspects of health can benefit from culture and especially that culture is fro all ages and can bring generations together.

I agree with these aims and the use of cultural activities to benefit all in society.

Yes, I like again the inclusive nature of this ambition. Culture is for all, and it is community based culture which helps to keep communities together and this should be supported and encouraged

The economic aspects of culture are essential, from the huge contribution of the Edinburgh Festivals to the myriad of local community events which attract visitors throughout the year. Cultural tourism is very important .

Delivering A Culture Strategy for Scotland

The outstanding success of the Edinburgh Festival in all its diversity over 70 years.
