The consultation document tends to try and cover too many areas under a generic heading. It really needs to target specific areas. Overall, it is all a bit academic and not really offering pragmatic solutions.

Not specific enough to individual areas of cultural progression. Too academic in its outlook with no practical solutions and a way forward. Its all a bit theoretical and fantastical.

5. Please provide comments on the aims and actions under this ambition. What do you like, or dislike, or what would you change?

Its all very generic and fails to target specific areas. Basically, it is all rather meaningless and lacks any kind of focus. Keep the information specific and simple and lessen the superfluous commentary.

These aims are understandable but not specific enough. For example, Aim 1, Action 1 - Explore new funding models to support the culture sector. What cultural sector - the professionals, the amateur sector, the volunteer sector? Who? This is all very poorly written with respect to getting adequate responses.

Academically written and needs to be constructed in a more accessible format before comments can be made. This illustrates clearly why the creative sector fails to progress.

Currently, I feel the strategy has no definition and lacks an understandable focus. Keep it simple and accessible to all, irrespective of background.
