Scotland is far too small and populated to take any risk, potential or otherwise, from fracking.

Not worth the risk to the population. Our economy, especially if independent, does not need it to thrive.

Again, any perceived benefits are simply not worth the risk to our people and our environment.

Massive. It's ok in vast unpopulated areas such as many places in the US but any impact in Scotland could be lethal.

I don't know enough on the subject but will reiterate my previous comments about the risks not being worth it.

Irrelevant. Regulatory frameworks can never stop all potential incidents.

Money for the few people who would profit from it.

Risk to the environment and risk to people's health mean that it would never be an appropriate industry in our precious country.

In Scotland we have oil & gas, we have hydro power, we have wind power, we have wave power and probably others I am not aware of. We have the knowledge, expertise and resources to generate virtually limitless amounts of power already. The only benefit of introducing fracking would be profits for the few, who are never going to publish any adverse risk analysis. Our land and our people are far too important to risk.
