I think the scope is fine, if very ambitious!

Why do Universities not have to address gender imbalance, yet colleges are? Universities could do a LOT more, the responsibility for promotion, adjustment and engagement should not lie solely with colleges. Not enough specifically for Maths. It is fundamental, but the courses are limited and the encouragement in schools, colleges and nurseries is minimal.

Spend more time and energy on the maths. It is vital for so much STEM, and yet is very much the poor cousin in terms of investment.

Needs greater clarity on Making Maths Count recommendations? But otherwise yes.

I think that is already outlined - Universities should increase engagement with schools though. Shouldn't always be the colleges.

Have a scheme similar to Ecoschools and green flags - where they earn levels and points?

Colleges have this in the main I think, universities not so much...

I think it is pointless unless there is national recognition for the ambassadors, an awards ceremony or something - to encourage participation.

Less short term contracts, more permanent posts.
