Overview
The purpose of this consultation is to gather views from stakeholders on the proposed assignation of Argyll College to the Regional Strategic Body for the Highlands and Islands, the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI).
Why your views matter
Following the restructure of the college sector in 2014 throughout the country, 13 regions were created, including the multi-college regions which were assigned to Regional Strategic Bodies (RSB). Argyll College should be assigned to UHI to ensure appropriate accountability like the other colleges in its region.
The consultation will run for an abbreviated period of four weeks. Following this consultation, the Scottish Government will analyse all the responses received and use feedback to help inform the development of the Assignation of Argyll College.
