Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) Refresh - Practice Guidance - Stakeholder Consultation

We asked
On 1 November 2021, the Scottish Government sought the views of stakeholders on the suite of GIRFEC refresh materials, including Using the National Practice Model and Information Sharing. A total of 61 responses were submitted.
You said
Overall, most respondents were very positive about the voice of the child being encouraged and threaded throughout the guidance. Respondents noted that the guidance provides more clarity on the roles of those working alongside children and young people. Most respondents noted the importance of a glossary to define the terms used within the guidance.

An independent analysis was undertaken and a research findings report written on the responses received. This can be found in the overview below.
These responses have informed and contributed to the revised practitioner guidance and the refreshed materials will be published in due course.
