Consultation on updated UK and zonal air quality action plans outlining work being undertaken to ensure compliance with EU nitrogen dioxide limit values in the shortest possible time.
Why your views matter
The consultation comprises of a UK action plan and zonal plans for Edinburgh, Glasgow, Central Scotland and North East Scotland. These are updated versions of the plans originally submitted to the European Commission in 2011. Following a Supreme Court ruling earlier this year, the UK is required to update these plans and submit them to the Commission by 31 December 2015.
