Overview

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is an executive agency of the Scottish Government, responsible for managing Scotland's national forests and land.

We are launching a public consultation on our next Corporate Plan which sets out the proposed direction of travel and priorities for our organisation over the next three years.

Why your views matter

The purpose of this consultation is to seek the views of all who have an interest in the national forests and land (forests and land owned by Scottish Ministers on behalf of the people of Scotland). We are particularly interested in hearing views on our corporate outcomes and priorities which will frame the delivery of our work over the next three years.

The consultation responses will help us to inform the development of the final version of the Corporate Plan which is due to be published in April 2022.

What happens next

We have instructed the organisation Progressive Partnership to analyse the results of the consultation.  The Corporate Plan will then be updated to reflect the information gained through this process, reformatted with graphics and case studies before being submitted to the Minister for Environment and Land Reform for approval.  We will then publish the approved Corproate Plan on 1st April 2022.
