The linked report gives the findings of the Scottish Ministers’ Review of the arrangements for investigating the deaths of patients being treated for mental disorder and the actions that will be taken to address them.



This is a survey to gather the views and experiences of staff working in health and social care in Scotland in respect of the investigation of the deaths of people being treated for mental disorder.

Why your views matter

To ensure that the review required by section 37 of the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 2015 has evidence from staff.

The report of the review under section 37 of the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 2015 will be published by the end of December 2018.
