I was not happy that vehicular access to my property was blocked off at the last euro events held at Hampden Park. No notice was given and every street into my property was blocked off.....no vehicles could get in or out....if an emergency vehicle had been required this would have caused a potential " life-threatening" delay. In addition there is a resident in my street who requires carers to attend 3 times per day and they were denied access. Plenty of "marshalls"at the barrier but they were not authorised to move the barrier. The barriers were in place for many hours after the end of the games and crowds had dispersed. This is not acceptable and I don't understand the necessity for barriers at a Euro game when they are not required for any other major events.
