As a retail employee of 21 years in a supermarket the greed showing by my company is now getting out of hand. We are just coming through the hardest year of my life with covid 19 and now we have been told we will be opening on new year's day, a day which should be spent spending quality time with family. We opened the store to a very very minimum amount of customers last year and took very little profit when staff just wanted to be home with family. I think the Scottish government should ban retail supermarkets from opening and would fully support this
