Excellence in learning and teaching

QUESTION 2. How best can we ensure that the views of our teaching professionals are taken into account appropriately within the new qualifications body, and do these proposals enable this?

Conducting regular consultations with teaching professionals. The qualifications body should consult with teaching professionals on a regular basis to gather their feedback on proposed qualifications and assessments.

Involving Scotland’s pupils and students in decisions that affect them

QUESTION 3. How best can we ensure that the views of pupils, students and other learners are appropriately represented within the new qualifications body, and do these proposals enable this?

Involve pupils and students in the governance of the new qualifications body. This should be done with regular consultation with the learners and ensure to gather their feedback on changes to certain proposals.
