Overview
This consultation seeks views on drafts of the 2 statutory inputs Scottish Ministers must make to the Strategic Review of Water Charges for the regulatory period 2021-27 and key issues arising. The documents are the Principles of Charging statement and the Investment Direction and they provide the general policy framework which will guide the detailed work on the strategic review by the Water Industry Commission for Scotland and Scottish Water.
Why your views matter
Ministers wish to ensure that the widest possible range of customer and stakeholder views are taken into account at all stages of the Strategic Review of Charges.
What happens next
Views received will be taken into account in the finalisation of these documents at a later stage of the review which will allow the Water Industry Commission to issue its final determination in March 2020 which will set out its view of charges for the regulatory period.
