The aim of this survey is to help Scottish Government better understand what the transition to reach net zero emissions means for people currently working in Scotland's energy sector.
It is designed to capture the opinions and experiences of workers in different parts of the energy sector regarding the opportunities and challenges presented by the transition. All responses from the survey will be anonymous and will contribute to the evidence base for the development of the Energy Strategy and Just Transition Plan
Take the Energy Workers Survey.
The survey will roughly take 10-15 minutes maximum to complete. The survey will close on the 26th of August 2022 at 3pm.
We will be hosting a number of sessions which you can come along to help improve your general understanding of our energy system and the implications with a rapid transition. The events will focus on participants’ lived experiences of issues and explore their different perspectives on the future, using creative approaches.

Overview
These events will include a mix of activities that a) facilitate deep listening to better understand the local context, lived experience of past transitions and hopes for the future, b) explore alternative possibilities for the future energy system using driver cards that the RSA has developed based on materials provided by the Scottish government, and c) start to imagine desirable futures for the local area as part of a creative visioning process.
