oh yes, I am much more confident around new people. I was quite isolated before, so getting together with like-minded people who want to learn something new was important

6. Is there anything that makes it hard for you to keep going with your learning?

public transport! I don't drive and live in a rural area. Not so easy to get around

It has given my self esteem a boost and make me want to get more involved in the community

Staff are so friendly and patient and understanding. You can tell they and their volunteers are committed to their job and really care about you as a person.

would be good to have some pop up sessions in more rural areas - I feel a lot of people miss out as there seems to be more going on in bigger towns like Hamilton and Cambuslang
