Learners wouldnn't know where to look on their own.

3. If you wanted to learn something new in a community setting, how would you go about it?

Please give us your views
Look online via a google search for learning courses in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.
Ask at the library.
Ask a social worker or support worker.
Ask at the job centre.
CLDW prompted discussion re coming into the community centre to make enquiries.

4. If you are doing, or have done some, community learning what made you decide to do this?

Please give us your views
I wanted to learn new skills. To help me to be independant.
I needed to improve communication skills and meet other people in the community. Plus needing to upskill for work/employability.
Need help with numeracy and cash handling skills. Then learnt about employability to help improve opportunities for jobs.

5. If you had goals you set out to achieve through your learning, do you feel you achieved them?

Please give us your views
Yes, I achieved a lot more than I thought. Seeing it pay off in different aspects of your life. Getting the qualification in SQA Numeracy - main reason for returning after lockdown.
Yes, Doing SQA communication and employability tailored learning to my needs and interests.
Yes, SQA ICT and now going to upskill to Level 4.
2 learners benefited being part of a samll group helps with communications skills, meeting other people different from you, perpectives, people skills.

6. Is there anything that makes it hard for you to keep going with your learning?

No But one learner does not have WIFI at home.
Needing to wear glassed to the learning session.

Yes for all 3 learners.

A lot because CLD is here to helps us learn new skills for the next step or to get a job. Developing communication and employability skills.
