North Berwick Community Centre has many group of all ages and skills .

2. How did you find out about these learning opportunities?

I found the group I joined 15 years ago when such thing were advertised in the local paper .

3. If you wanted to learn something new in a community setting, how would you go about it?

It would have to be word of mouth as such things are no longer advertied in the local paper , but the office staff at the Community Centre are very helpful .

4. If you are doing, or have done some, community learning what made you decide to do this?

For the company after my husband died .

5. If you had goals you set out to achieve through your learning, do you feel you achieved them?

The art I do is much improved , having not done that since my school days , and I have really enjoyed it , and still do .

6. Is there anything that makes it hard for you to keep going with your learning?

I prefer day time activities as I am a pensioner . So far that has been available .

7. Are you learning at a time and place that meets your needs?

Yes I am part of a day time group that meet at North Berwuck Community Centre which is warm and well run , plus essential company and friendship .

8. How do you think your learning will help you in the future.

I hope it keeps my mind young and alive plus the company certainly helps against lonelyness .

As mentioned , company in a warm friendly place which mostly has car parking available .

11. Where would you raise any concerns about your learning and/or the place where you learn?

The staff in the office are very helpful .
