We fished Wrasse 2015,2016,2017. Landing to Loch Duart LTD. but were unable to 2018,2019. We are now going to be left with a lot of expensive gear if we do not get a wrasse permit.
Another major problem will be west coast fishermen with permits, loading boats and gear onto lorries and transporting them to the east coast to fish wrasse.This has already happened here over the last two years. As local boats are tied to the wall going bankrupt.
Will there be a compensation package for all the gear we are going to be left with?
