Given the record number of deer in Scotland this policy goes against the recruitment and qualification of competent deer managers to freely practice on targets in order to maintain the skills required to humanely cull deer.
Spending any tax payers money on this ch he represent a poor use of that money, that ought to be more wisely spent - perhaps by funding DSC 1 & 2 qualifications to increase the number of SQEP deer managers in Scotland
