Is anything missing from the definition of advocacy, and if so, what?
Yes, it should not only be "to make an application to Social Security". It should be advocacy in any shape or form that a disabled person requires. This, after all, is the meaning of the Equality Act of 2010.

Is anything missing from the standards and, if so, what?
I would like to know how advocacy workers maintain their responsibilities under human rights and equality legislation because most people I find who are working in these sectors have completely outdated information.

As I, with my profession, have to update my knowledge all the time and revalidate my job, I hope they would have to as well.

Is anything missing from the standards and if so, what?
Proper quality assurance would not have self-evaluations because this is not productive towards an independent review. I do not approve of this method of quality assurance.

If yes, please provide details:
I would like a Carers group to be identified here because we share protected characteristics by way of association with those that are disabled. This would mean that I, as a full time carer to my severely disabled husband, would benefit from advocacy as and when needed and not only when requesting any help for my husband. This should be part and parcel of the same group by association because it is solely due to my husband's disability that I am his carer and cannot pursue my own career full time.
