"A parent would be able to seek advocacy support to assist with their disabled child’s application for assistance, particularly if the child or young person wished to ensure their own voice was heard. "

I think that children should have a right to advocacy regardless of whether their parent sought the support - thinking of families that may require more support than others. Also the word 'parent' - perhaps parent/carer should be used instead?
