Overview
The Scottish Government, UK Government, Welsh Government, and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland are jointly seeking views on long term carbon pricing policy following EU Exit.
We are consulting on the preferred position of a UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) linked to the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) following the UK’s departure from the EU.
This consultation will be of particular interest to:
- individual companies
- representatives of industrial, power and aviation sectors with obligations under the EU ETS
- environmental groups
This consultation is not limited to these stakeholders; any organisation or individual is welcome to respond.
Interests
- Environment and Climate Change
