My son has an eating disorder and this will make his recovery more difficult.
You will encourage more disordered eating in others not yet ill.
It has been shown in other countries to have no effect on obesity levels.
The English notices of 2000 calories a day for a person are wildly inaccurate as this is for an average woman, so is inaccurate and too low for all men and inaccurate for non-average women.

No, because that only applies to an average woman, taking no account of their health. Men are 2500. Growing young adults are 4000-6000. People who exercise regularly are more than the average.
